MPRRC Course: Val Nolasco Half Marathon

About the Course

Distance: half marathon

The run begins at Kapiolani Regional Park on Kalakaua Ave, near the ocean side of the bandstand. The course heads briefly towards Waikiki and takes a right on Monsarrat, another right on Paki, and then heads up and over Diamond Head. Next, it takes a left at Triangle Park, shadowing the marathon course up Diamond Head road, with a right on 18th Ave. Runners will then take a right on Kilauea bringing them to Kalanianaole Highway where they head out to Wailupe Circle before turning around and heading back to the park via a left on Kealaolu. After a right on Kahala Ave, runners head back to the park, finishing at the Honolulu Marathon finish line.

Parking is available anywhere around the park as long as there are no signs indicating otherwise.

Directions

From Downtown Honolulu, take H-1 east and exit at King Street. Drive straight though first stop light past Foodland (on right). At second stop light, turn right onto Kapahulu Avenue. Stay on Kapahulu until it dead ends into Kalakaua. Turn left and bear left at the fork onto Monsarrat. Turn right into the Waikiki Shell Parking Lot.
