MPRRC Race Schedule
COVID-19 Safety
If you feel ill or have flu-like symptoms (coughing, sneezing, elevated temperature, etc.) please stay home. We love that you want to compete, but safety is paramount.
On race day volunteers will be under a tent behind a clear, plastic barrier for check-in, registration, or to hand out swag/snacks. Runners will line up at social distance to be served.
You will need to wear a face covering the entire time (except when you are running). If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. If you want water or other fluids, please bring your own. There will be hand sanitizer available, as needed, and you must maintain social distance throughout the event. There will be a water barrel available to refill your personal water bottle. Disinfectant wipes will be available to wipe down the spout/handle prior to use.
We use a wave start at social distance so runners are at least 6 feet apart at the start line. A timing mat is used at the start so that your time is accurate regardless of your start position. The finish line will have separated lanes. Once you cross the finish line timing mat, the lanes will veer out right and left to further separate finishers. Once you have cooled down, you must put on your mask or facial covering.
No race results will be posted at the finish area. The results will be online at https://timelinehawaii.com/
Please maintain social distance at all times. There is a tendency for runners to be less mindful of good safety practices after a run and for running friends to congregate at less than social distance and/or without fully covering mouth and nose. Wearing a face covering is not primarily for your protection – it helps protect everyone else in the event you are infected but have no symptoms. The mask reduces the broadcast of the water droplets that carry the virus. So make sure you are protecting your friends – wear the face cover.
The COVID-19 virus is serious business. Anyone who refuses to abide by the safety rules will be disqualified from the race and banned from future events.
Registration Fees
Race fees can be found in the race flyer or registration link. Please sign up well in advance of the race, because prices for race-day sign up may be higher.
