This Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club afternoon holiday run/walk is a family friendly activity on Magic Island. We will a chance for the young and young at heart to visit with Santa. There will also be a Santa Hat contest for the “Best Santa Hat”. Come prepared for a fun run/walk as well as holiday activities. Don’t forget that we will be in the park, so you might want to bring a picnic dinner for your family to enjoy the sunset.

The Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club will host a hospitality tent in the finish area of the Honolulu Marathon on Dec. 8. Food and beverage will be provided for $10 to members who are pre-registered ($15 on marathon day) as well as massages for an additional $15. To register go to runsignup.com

Start your Thanksgiving Day celebration by helping to SAVE THE TURKEY TROT! What better way to work up an appetite than putting in a few miles on Thanksgiving morning? This is an untimed, fun run/walk that will start at the Bandstand in Kapiolani Park and feature an 8-Mile route through beautiful Kahala, a 4-Mile route over Diamond Head to Operation Red Wing Medal of Honor Park (Triangle Park) & back, or a 2-Mile route around Kapiolani Park and the Zoo. Thanksgiving-related costumes are encouraged – best costume wins a prize! There will also be Malasadas fresh from Leonard’s Bakery! Start the New Year right and experience the 1st sunrise of 2020 with run. Join Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club and your running friends for the Bosetti 1st Sunrise 10K! Sunrise is 7:09 a.m. HST. Meet on Kealahou Street near Sandy Beach to run a hilly out-and-back course on the roads through Hawaii Kai. Bring your bling (special awards to the “blingiest” runner) to help us toast the New Year is style. Finish your first run of the year by wishing all of your friends a safe and prosperous 2020 with no injuries to keep them from other Oahu runs!

We have a new sponsor for this race, Ko’olau Distillery is the new sponsor. They will be providing a bottle of their Old Pali Whiskey to the top 3 male and top 3 females overall winners. They will also be offering free tours of the distillery.
